When Administrative Law Collides with Criminal Defense
I was honored to be invited to present before the Sonoma County Bar Association's Criminal Law Section on July 16, 2019. The topic I chose was the overlap between Criminal Law and Administrative Law.
It was an engaged crowd and I got to answer lots of questions by members of our great legal community. Hopefully, I was able to share some information on the process, the omnipotent "substantially related to the profession" standard used by licensing agencies to discipline licensees, and some pointers on best practices for handling criminal defendants whose charge may have licensing implications.
